The Story Behind the Story
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on
inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness,
benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Face The Music
Toni Powell: founder, producer, curator
Toni Powell is not only the co-founder of Little Film Big Heart but also a
mother of five, dedicated couch potato (except when exercising of course),
award winning short filmmaker, disinterested cook, consultant with Withoutabox,
grandmother, and owner of two left feet. Life is better for others if
she is not singing or playing a musical instrument.
Driven by a desire to contribute to the emotional wellbeing of the planet Toni
founded Heart of Gold International Film Festival in 2005, and served as the
Festival Director for 4 years, until she resigned in 2009. Little Film Big Heart
is the continuation of her original vision to touch the world through film.
Loves: family, friends, short film, people who stand up for things, chocolate,
great novels, people who actually say what they really mean, music & a nice
glass of red.
Dislikes: small talk, getting old, call waiting, small mindedness, exercise (but
attempts this anyway), political games playing, waiting in lines, most country
music & companies who forget about individuals.
